King of Prussia Retail Skills Center

Our writers suggest you narrow King of Prussia Retail Skills Center term papers by beginning with discussing that the culture of the U.S. is a retail-oriented one should be enough of a reason to say that this new training center concept is a great idea, but there is even more evidence to support such an endeavor.

King of Prussia Retail Skills Center

A significant number of citizens are either without jobs, or are in need of better jobs, but they have neither the time, nor the energy, or the “connections,” if you will, to take that first step into the retailing industry. The King of Prussia retail skills center provides that opportunity.  With the number of awards and the recognition it is getting nation-wide, it must be having a substantial impact.  When I looked it up on the Internet, I found many articles regarding its success.  The potential for success for these trainees is greatly increased by the follow-up program described in that same article.

Kathy Mannes, manager of workforce initiatives for the NRI also believes that the concept will “raise the image of retail careers and reduce turnover, as well as help with recruitment.”
The retail skills center is targeted toward students, current retail employees, and persons moving from welfare or other programs out into the job market who need to acquire both skills and experience to gain worthwhile employment in the retail industry.  In my opinion, if it is continually managed properly, it will be an excellent model from which other skills centers can be created.
