The research design used in this study involves a non-experimental cross-sectional approach in which data regarding the level of parental involvement is correlated against the academic performance of students. Demographic data will also be obtained from the study population to determine if any of the demographic variables will function as a moderator for the findings. A regression analysis will be performed on the data to determine if there is a correlation between parental involvement and academic performance and if the demographic variables modify the correlation.
