Family Studies Research Papers

The research paper explores a topic, or position related to family studies and draw conclusions, make suggestions, and propose hypotheses The topic I chose is Domestic Violence.

The format of the body of the paper includes:

1. Abstract- This section justifies the importance of the topic, issue, or position and describes the objectives of the paper.
2. Discussion- This section presents the literature review and draws conclusions.
3. Summary- This section includes reiterates the topic issue, or position, gives recommendations, and may suggest hypotheses.
4. References- this section includes only the citations in the paper. For the references you cannot use any internet source.

Requirements for Journal Articles:

1. You can only use journals written by scholarly authors.
2. Research journal articles can not be be earlier than the year 2000.

Requirements for Paper:Use this format:

1. 1.25" left/right and 1" top/bottom
2. 12 point courier font, typed
3. doubled spaced
4. and aligned left.

You have to use 5 scholarly journals for sources.

Do not use quotations throughout the paper!

You will need to paraphrase. Use your own words. Avoid writing in first person when writing. When writing your paper you must integrate the information from research articles into a comprehensive paper on the topic.

The topic I would like to explore for this project is Domestic Violence and why it is so prevalent in relationships today:

1. Why do men batter women?
2. Have between 1500-3500 words total

4. references, or reflection.
