By thesis I mean a position or argument that tests an assumption about that class of offenders which my or may not hold up. For example I am always skeptical about imputing psychological hang-ups as reasons for criminal behavior. Can you say that the Unibomber had schizophrenic disorder, and that was the reason why he killed three people and seriously wounded 29? I like arguments. Develop them supported by evidence gleaned from your library/internet research, lectures, and personal theorizing
4. Answer the question even if it is speculation on your part: How representative is that one offender you chose to write about to your knowledge in general of this form of Crime Typology? Indicate your personal and intellectual reasons for choosing this Crime Typology. For example, say you choose shoplifting among teenagers. Perhaps your interest stems from the fact that you were a shoplifter in your adolescence.
5. Be selective in choosing your sources. A minimum of 5 sources
