Chicago/Turabian Style

Chicago Manual of Style

Chicago or Turabian Style citation is typically used for Humanities topics like History term papers and research papers. There are basically two methods of citation that are utilized for Chicago/Turabian Style and which one you choose depends upon your professor's preference and/or the types of sources you will be documenting. The most up-to-date and widely perferred method of Chicago/Turabian citation is that of the natural and social sciences style of author/date and then implementation of a bibliographic citation at the end of the term paper or research paper. The other type of citation is utilizing notes (i.e. footnotes) and a bibliography.
