Sarah Palin is an interesting Vice Presidential Candidate and should be an easy mark for a biographical research paper. Remembering that the biographical research paper must contain unique research information, first begin your paper by deciding what aspect of research you want to focus on. For example, to provide a unique synthesis of Sarah Palin’s life, you may want to focus on her family raising skills. Perhaps compare and contrast her family raising ideals with Republican ideals. Another slant you may want to take is to research her record on attendance in Governmental functions required of a Governor. She leads a very active social, family and outdoor life, so does she neglect her political duties because of this? Your topic for a biographical research paper actually gives you more leeway for interesting material than a simple biographical essay does, so run with it and impress your Prof!
Also remember that when writing a biographical research paper on someone like Sarah Palin, you are bound to reporting reputable facts. Therefore, the source material you use is extremely important. You will want to focus mainly on governmental websites, Newspaper accounts and other primary source material. Be very, very careful not to confuse a reputable looking blog for facts. Just one Google Search on Sarah Pallin produced 3 blogs on the first page of results! Stick with primary sources material from published material or .gov or .org websites and you would be on your way to a great biography research paper!
