Romancing with a Term Paper

Romancing with a Term Paper

Think I’m kidding? Absolutely not! In fact, one of our best writers told me over a beer last night that he got over 15 dates in college using the “Holy shit! I’ve a term paper due tomorrow and I don’t know how to do it” line on hot girls at the U of Wisconsin. Just like the cheesy guy at the laundry mat looking helplessly at the skid-marks on his underwear, Riley Musbach, professional term paper writer extraordinaire, shamelessly scammed brainy females into helping him with his already completed term papers! I thought I’d heard it all but Riley gave me new insight into creative college dating secrets and here is how he did it! Read more…

Choosing a Term Paper Topic That “Wows” Professors

April 22nd, 2009 1 comment

We discussed in last week’s post some easy ways to come up with a topic for a term paper. This week, we can take that topic and turn it into something that will blow your professor away with its insight and originality. Let me give you an example – You find Shakespeare dull and boring and you have a term paper on Romeo and Juliet. How can you relate Romeo and Juliet to what you love and write about something that will wow the professor? How about writing an English term paper that compares the All-American Rejects song “Dirty Little Secret” to Romeo and Juliet? That is what I mean by making the paper relevant and contemporary, no matter what the topic is. Read more…

Trouble with Term Paper Topics?

Have you ever stared at a blank computer screen, heard the clock ticking in the background, the research paper due the next morning and you don’t even have a topic picked out yet? Picking out a term paper topic is one of the hardest parts of writing a research paper. If you pick a topic too narrow, you won’t be able to find enough information to write on. If your research paper topic is too broad, the whole paper will sound like fluff and there will be no focus to the writing. You must pick a topic that is narrow enough to be relevant to what you discuss each day in class, yet broad enough to be able to find interesting and informative resources. So how do you pick the perfect topic for a research paper? It is really quite simple to pick a research topic and you can do it five minutes or less! Read more…

Chronicle “outs” Essay Mill

March 27th, 2009 No comments

In a lame bit of reporting by the Chronicle of Higher Education, author Thomas Bartlett “reports” the “shocking” news of “essay mills” being a global phenomena. Even more astounding, Bartlett acts as if it is news that these companies plagiarize what they call “custom” term papers. Furthermore, he asserts that these companies are growing rapidly and “becoming” international. Bartlett’s reporting is lame due to the fact that these companies have always been owned by foreign corporations, never sold anything but plagiarism and, in fact, they are actually dying out rather rapidly. Learn more….

Paper Masters, as one of the only legitimate custom term paper companies on the Internet has tracked these foreign companies for many years. As a family owned business operating in the United States, Paper Masters has battled with these fraudulent foreign companies for many years, trying to differentiate our services from their out and out robbery of college students and plagiarism practices. Where has the Chronicle been when we were reporting on fraudulent term paper companies years ago!

I am curious why a publication of the Chronicle of Higher Education’s caliber would spend its energy on writing an article about a fraudulent company. If they were presenting a piece on the fraud that is prolific in these Essay Mills, than I could see why he would focus on the company Essay Writers. But to present a piece on cheating going global and essay mills multiplying when, in fact, they are diminishing rapidly and  have always been run outside of the United States, is just poor investigation.

Having monitored the industry for 12 years, and owning one of the only legitimate United States operated “essay mills” on the internet, the “essay mill” industry is actually becoming very small. There are only a few companies, yet to the uninformed eye, it appears like many. A few companies operate under many, many names. Note the case Axact v. Student Network Resources (http://www.chillingeffects.org/notice.cgi?sID=9146), which illustrates the true nature of these essay mills. These term paper mills are becoming extinct due to ubiquitous use of TurnItIn.com by professors. Students need customized term papers, not plagiarized essay mill products and they are no longer willing to be taken advantage of by foreign companies that never produce a product.

Education Majors! Term Paper Help

February 19th, 2009 No comments

We have been examining the hottest degrees in today’s colleges and universities. These are determined by how marketable the degree is in the job world today. Undisputedly, an Education Degree is one of the most sought after degrees in our nation. Schools across the globe are overcrowded and Education Majors have their pick of jobs. However, as an education major, you first must get that illusive degree and many education majors get stuck on the difficulty of some aspects of course material. The biggest hurdle education majors face is the ability to write an effective term paper. Term paper writing for education majors can be simplified with a few easy tips that we will clue you in on right here.

Education majors face a large amount of theoretical material in their classes. Thus, when it comes to term paper writing, term papers should be based upon theory and not so much on practical knowledge. Writing a term paper that is theoretically solid requires a few unique elements. First, the key to starting a theoretically based research paper is to have a strong thesis statement. Make your thesis statement grounded in one educational theory and then expand on that theory by how it applies to your topic. For example, say I am writing a paper on child development. My thesis statement would be something like this: Piaget’s theory of the preoperational stage of cognitive development explains early childhood learning through symbolic or representational knowledge acquisition.

Working off a strong thesis statement is the key to writing a good theoretically based term paper or research paper. Break your thesis statement down into parts and divide your paper accordingly and you will have terrific success in education courses.

Plagiarism in College Term Papers

January 29th, 2009 No comments

Plagiarism in academia is a misrepresentation of the authorship of someone else’s work. As for written work, Copyright law allows that once original text is written, copyright protects it. This allows an author to sell, lease or use her original material in any way she deems appropriate. Any writer, who willingly copies or uses another’s written work in any way without proper acknowledgement, puts himself at risk of dire consequences. He may also jeopardize the original author’s credibility and/or financial opportunities. Another cultural phenomenon that has rivaled the increase of student body populations in terms of the significance of the challenge to academic integrity has been the widespread advent of the Internet. Never before has such a wealth of data been available to be accessed by the general public. Although the implications of the Internet as an academic research tool are extremely beneficial, the inevitable downside of the Internet resources being exploited in various ways that defy the spirit of university academic misconduct policies.

The penalties for infractions against academic integrity can vary depending on the severity of the offense, ranging from a written warning placed in the student’s permanent school file to expulsion from the University. Plagiarism rides a razor’s edge that doesn’t always make a clean distinction between what plagiarism is and what it isn’t. Therefore it is up to individuals to discover the parameters of plagiarism in their institution or profession. The Internet offers over 500,000 sites on plagiarism and over 100,000 on plagiarism and the law, so ignorance of plagiarism’s consequences in inexcusable.

Term Papers in Marketable Degree Fields

January 29th, 2009 1 comment

A recent article in MSN Encarta listed the 5 most marketable degrees in the year 2009. The degrees that are highly marketable for college students today are as follows: Nursing, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics and Education. In a four part series, we will examine each of these fields and common issues addressed in writing term papers for each unique degree area. Today, we begin with the extremely equitable and marketable career choice of Nursing.

In the past two decades, reflective nursing practices such as term paper writing and research reports have moved to the forefront of professional nursing research and analysis. Studies site the increased acuity levels of patients, decreases in the length of hospitalization and the proliferation of health care technology and specialization as driving forces behind the need for highly educated nurses. On the other hand, other studies speak about the ever-changing demands of health care delivery that require practitioners who are able to utilize their knowledge to meet patient needs in a flexible and creative manner. Term papers are part of a reflective nursing practice that is required to develop the type of practitioner that is able to function effectively in today’s health care system.

Hence, reflection in term papers has become an important issue for the nursing profession and nursing education. Nurse practisioners who have skills in term paper writing are believed to have the intellectual capacity to formulate knowledge allowing them to better serve and care for their clients; offer and provide critically thoughtful approaches to nursing care in complex environments; and link theory to practice, which in turn, fosters an understanding of nursing.

In addition to the demand for nurse practitioners who are skilled in writing in the workplace, there has been a significant movement in nursing education away from teacher–centered learning toward a more learner-focused paradigm. Nursing education has experienced a significant shift in its approach to teaching. Within the last ten years, nursing curriculum has moved away from traditional didactic and positivist empirical approach to a more qualitative methodology based on questioning, critical inquiry, emancipatory philosophy and critical social theory. As a result of the demand for reflective practice and the change in nursing curricula, term paper writing has become a popularized pedagogical strategy used in nursing education.

Finding and developing methods that provide learners with the opportunity to reflect on their education through term paper writing has become an important consideration for nurse educators. Term paper writing is one such strategy that is believed to provide a format that promotes reflection and reflective practice in nurse learners. Therefore, term paper writing has become a significant part of nursing curriculum as a teaching and learning tool.

8 Tips for Writing College Term Papers

January 28th, 2009 2 comments

The average college student hates to write term papers. They take a large amount of time, topics are often vague and confusing, and formatting standards are complicated. However, with 8 simple tips, Paper Masters can help make term paper writing simple and straight-forward. Just relax and print out the following suggestions to help make writing college term papers a breeze.

1. Choose a term paper topic you like. Be certain you are interested in the topic and can get excited about learning more about it.

2. Get suggestions from your professor. Professor’s like to know you are interested in their course. Ask him or her for advice on where to find research.

3. Do your reading and research someplace you like. Pick a favorite coffee house, a park or secluded spot on campus to get comfortable and dive into the term paper topic.

4. Make each research/writing session for small, incremental periods of time. Short, concentrated periods of time devoted to the topic keep the research and writing fresh.

5. Take a friend with you for a term paper writing session. Invite a friend or someone else from your class and write your paper together. Read the term paper to each other to make sure it flows, make sense and has a clear thesis.

6. Visit the writing lab. Take your project to the writing lab when you are half way through it. Have them check grammar, spelling and overall sentence structure.

7. Show your professor a rough draft. Generally, professor’s are glad to overview rough drafts of term papers in order to get the student on the right track with the assignment.

8. Order a term paper sample on your exact topic. Custom writing companies will produce a term paper exactly as you need it written. Give them your topic and they show you how it should be written.
