Summer session term papers can be very different from term papers that you are required to write during the year. The summer allows the professor more time and generally they are more open to personal, one-on-one help because they understand that summer session students are either trying to make something up or get ahead of their course work. They recognize the effort it takes to go year round and more often than not, they appreciate the diligence. So take advantage of the time you have in the summer and the time your professor is willing to give and learn what he or she wants in the term paper.
