As in any aspect in life, it is beneficial to have a goal in mind before undertaking it. Covey set the foundation for successful approaches to achieving personal change and applying these changes to all aspects of life. It is a basic human drive to improve our existence and Covey capitalizes on this fact with 7 simplistic, yet applicable points to personal upward movement.

It is every mother’s chore, coaches job, bosses dilemma and leaders quandary to master a way to motivate the people under them and themselves. How does one get the motivation to strive to be the best person he or she can be?

Meaning what a person is capable of generating as an asset, be it personal, related to business, or relationships. Covey’s mission is to empower people and organizations to significantly increase their performance capability in order to achieve worthwhile purpose through understanding and living principle-centered leadership.
